Steel Driveway Gate with spears high and low

The High Low spear design gate provides great security whilst retaining a homely appearance. Every second spear rising above the top rail of the gate alternates between the lower height and higher height providing a peak height of 1.3m on the highest spears and 1.25mm on the shorter spears.

The construction is of pre-galvanized steel RHS tubing for the Bottom Rail (80x40mm), SHS tubing (40x40mm Top, Sides and Horizontal Rails) and steel pickets (19mm), every join on the gate is welded providing the best strength and rigidity unlike flat pack gates.

The Titan 2410 Sliding Gate System is built around a compact form factor yet utilizing the space for a large 180 Watt 24V DC motor delivering an unparalleled capacity of up to 1000KG gate or up to 8 Meters in length.

Clever engineering allows for the system to work in a Ultra Fast and controlled operating speed with the allowance to be reduced to a normal or even slow running speed if required. The housing is formed from die-cast alloy with a steel pinion gear and all internal mountings are of steel to provide the best physical strength both inside and outside and the peace of mind of a long service life.

Keeping it reliable and dependable the Titan series operator uses trusty micro switch limit system allowing for the added bonus of a simple (and effective) installation. Top Guide System Options

Multiple options available to choose from based on two factors:

1. Protrusions above the gate such as spears.

2. Gates total thickness including and cladding material if applicable.

175mm Bracket with 100mm Nylon Rollers

The 175mm overhead bracket allows for an adjustment up to maximum total gate thickness of 75mm. This is the standard option typically used with 40/50mm thick gates without cladding and allows for minor adjustment.

210mm Bracket with 100mm Nylon Rollers

210mm top bracket with 100mm rollers

The 210mm Longer overhead bracket allows for a full adjustment up to maximum total gate thickness of 115mm. This is typically the go to in most cases when using an overhead bracket and roller arrangement as it allows for all standard gate thickness and also surface mounted horizontally clad gates or gates that need a larger set back away from the post. It is constructed of DUAL C channels providing the best rigidity and with no flex under load.

Independent Rollers

Typically (but not exclusively) used with spear design gates, a guide roller on each side (inside support post also required) WITHOUT the need of an overhead bracket allows for any protrusion above the gate frame to run through without an issue as the rollers contact each side of the gate frame, it does however require the gate to operate on a level grade, if not see the C channel section option with Nylon Block.

This system requires a support post behind the gate on the inside, the C channel option chosen ideally should be same material as the post (Both Steel and Aluminum choices are available).

On the back of the gate a welded 40×40 angle (or screw on Z section, available as an optional item) slides through the nylon block.

Best suited for gates on a grade where the guide system must follow UP/DOWN during the gates operation, Suitable for gates where there is overhead protrusions such as spears, suitable for gates with face mounted cladding to the frame.

White and Black nylon block options are available.

Gate Catcher/Receiver Meeting Point

Multiple options available to choose from based on the gates total thickness including and cladding material if applicable. It is recommended to use a gate catcher that is 10mm greater than the gate thickness.

The key additional feature of this catcher is the ability to adjust its alignment with the offset bracket making it perfect for when the posts side face does not align with the gate.

Internal Double bearing wheels allow the gate wheels to be recessed into the bottom of the gate frame (minimum height 75mm tubing), they keep the gate close to the ground track system (normally within 25mm) and provide the neatest aesthetic. The small pocket cut into the bottom of the gate is not greater than the 78mm wheel diameter and allows the flange points to meet with the tubing on either side and screw into place.

External Surface Mount Wheels

The easiest to install, these bearing wheels screw directly to the bottom of the gate tubing without any need for cutting, the external surface mounting wheels typically raise the gate 90mm from the ground track system.

The sliding gate ground track is formed from galvanized steel to the R10 profile, this profile is proven to be the smoothest operation for the gate wheels without any negative characteristics like the older v groove designs.

The track is secured to the driveway using plugs and screws or knock in’s such as anchor nails, its important to use a fixing that does not protrude greater than 3-4mm to prevent contact with the gate wheels.

OPTIONAL Uninterrupted Battery Backup System

The optional uninterrupted battery backup system allows for continued use in the case of power loss without the need for any user intervention, it will continue to allow system operation including any system accessories for 24 hours OR until the power is restored. The batteries are automatically recharged when power is restored and trickle whilst power is available Directly fitting into the systems compartment there is no need for any additional storage boxes.

If the optional battery system is not desired the system can still be manually release using the secure override system.

    WIRELESS Automatic Vehicle Detection Sensor – for Automatic Opening of gate

    An easy to install WIRELESS AUTOMATIC OPENING driveway vehicle detection system

    Multiple hours saved, materials saved and frustrations gone

    Long gone are the days of cutting concrete, chasing wires and configuring induction loop detectors (ground loop). Finally, a simple WIRELESS solution to streamline the installation process.
    The WIRELESS loop detector SIMPLY BOLT DOWN to a concrete driveway (or concrete pad in gravel driveways) and wirelessly communicate back with the gate system using the supplied high security (128 Bit) transceiver for two way communication between the New Generation wireless loops.

    The wireless exit “loop” is maintenance free and installed with 2x AA Lithium batteries for a THREE YEAR use period before a battery replacement is required (regular usage), to replace the batteries simply remove the top cover and fit the new Lithium AA batteries.

    How does it work and what happens if I accidently drive over it?
    The wireless loop is designed for a vehicle to drive over and will detect the undercarriage of the vehicle, if its accidently driven over it presents no issue whatsoever as its casing carries a static load capacity of 2500kg.

    How far can i have it from the gate?
    Thanks to its high transmission range capabilities it has a maximum wireless operating distance of 50 meters.

    How big is it?
    Its compact form factor allows for a discreet installation measuring only 120x120mm Length and Width and only 30mm in height.

    Will it work with my system?
    Typically, YES, it will work with any gate system that has an open command input and an accessories voltage output of 12-24V DC

    Which installations does this suit?
    Any domestic installations which fit the following criteria:
    ✓A concrete pad or driveway is available for the device to be installed on to
    ✓When a vehicle is parked it does not sit within 3 meters of the device
    ✓The device does not sit in a recess and pool water, snow or any debris
    ✓Not nearby to high voltage cables

    How is it installed?
    1. Connect the transceiver to the gates control board, this must be installed within the gate controller or any enclosure
    2. Power on the transceiver and have the loop touching the antenna of the transceiver.
    3. Once the transceiver flashes its blue led and the loop flashes its yellow led they are now paired together.
    4. Remove backing plate from the loop and install to concrete using the supplied concrete screw bolts, ensure the arrow faces the direction of travel for exit (faces towards the gate).
    5. Install the wireless loop to the backing plate and allow 3 minutes for calibration
    Test to confirm operation, job done!

    • SHORT CIRCUIT is the situation that occurs when battery positive (+) and negative (-) are directly connected. The current will become extremely high due to a lack of resistance in the circuit that would limit current flow. The protective PVC shrink wrap should always be in PERFECT condition. DO NOT use the battery if parts are damaged in any way.
    • Keep lithium-ion batteries AWAY from sharp objects. DO NOT store lithium-ion batteries close to or on your person, in a pocket, purse, backpack, etc.

    • Lithium batteries must be properly disposed of – NOT in a fire or in the trash. Laws vary at the city, state and national level, and it is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure they are recycling lithium batteries properly.     • Immediately STOP charging, storing, or using lithium-ion batteries if they emit an unusual smell, feel hot, change color, or shape, or appear damaged.
    • If exposed to battery electrolyte, flush with water, immediately and/or immediately contact a physician or emergency services.
    • If purchasing this battery for resale purposes, you MUST forward ALL warnings to ALL potential customers for their reference and safety!
    • The positive (+) and negative (-) terminals MUST NOT be reversed when charging or using the battery.
    • Do not charge or discharge lithium-ion batteries at a rate beyond the maximum charging or discharging current of the manufacturer’s specific current ratings.
    • If eye exposure arises, flush with water for 15 minutes, and immediately seek emergency attention.
    • ALWAYS charge lithium-ion batteries in or on a fire-proof surface and do not leave batteries charging without due attention.
    • We are not responsible for any damage if there is any modification of the batteries/chargers in any shape or form (including but not limited to pack making).
    • DO NOT modify, disassemble, puncture, cut, crush, or incinerate.
    • DO NOT solder directly onto the battery, spot weld only.
    • DO NOT use force to install.
    • It is your responsibility to determine that your charger or device is functioning properly.
    • DO NOT store or carry lithium-ion batteries in your pocket, bag, or anywhere together with other conducting materials or objects such as necklaces, hairpins, etc.
    • DO NOT place the battery in high-pressure containers, microwave ovens, or induction cookware.
    • Misuse of lithium-ion rechargeable battery cells can pose a serious risk of personal injury or property damage.
    • Keep the lithium-ion batteries out of the reach of children and pets.
    • Avoid charging or storing lithium-ion batteries at high temperatures greater than 50°C. High temperatures might ignite the battery and cause a fire.
    • Avoid charging lithium batteries below freezing 0°C, as this will permanently reduce the battery capacity due to lithium plating.
    ⚠ BEST PRACTICES
    • DO NOT run the battery until it cuts off. That will significantly reduce the operating life of the battery.
    • DO NOT leave a battery fully charged or fully depleted for longer than a few days.
    • DO NOT charge below freezing or above 50°C.
    • DO NOT discharge below -10°C or above 50°C.
    • IMMEDIATELY unplug a battery once it is charged.
    • DO NOT charge the battery near flammable materials. Keep batteries at least 2 meters from flammable materials.
