  Description

  Raptor Low Voltage 24 Volt Heavy Duty Articulating Arm Operator

  

  The Raptor Articulating Arm System Is a High-End ITALIAN 24 Volt Metal Gearbox Articulating Arm Operator in the Extra Heavy Duty Class, Flexible, Strong and and Resilient the operator can swing gate weights of up to an outstanding 800KG (Wrought Iron Gates) and Gates up to 4.2m (14FT). Construction is Heavy Duty and Solid with a all metal reduction gear systems structure encapsulated into a die-cast housing.

  Flexibility is standard thanks to the spherical ball joint connection points on the arm. Both joins in the arm have excellent flexibility allowing for gate operation even when the gate is out of level or a rising gate application. The steel arms continue the heavy duty capabilities of the operators being constructed from laser cut steel at an 8mm thickness for high strength and the post bracket also carries its weight at 5mm thickness also from laser cut steel.

  The Raptor series operator is 100% Universal meaning the operator could be installed on EITHER side of the driveway and is suitable for both Inwards (Pull to Open) and Outwards (Push to Open) installations with a clever clutch release system (Emergency release) is available on both sides of the operator.

  The Raptor operator uses micro switches (Limit Switches) for both the Open and also the Closed positions allowing for precise and easily adjustable cut off point for each position. Micro switches are wired back to the gate control board for easier designation of both positions without the requirement of any electronics within the gate motor.

  The prerequisite for a Raptor operator is a mounting area of 215mm, this is typically available on piers, pillars and large posts. If you have a narrow post the mounting area requirement can be reduced by drilling additional holes in the post bracket OR the post could be extended by installing a heavy duty bracket on the side of the post. The clearance area required for a Raptor operators arm when the gate is open to 90 Degrees (arm folded back) is 450mm.

  Both Cable rolls required (DC Motor and Limit Switches) is available as an add on (in the kit contents tab) if cable has not been pre-laid before hand), a total of 5 wires is used to operate a Raptor.

  OPTIONAL Uninterrupted Battery Backup System

  

  The optional uninterrupted battery backup system allows for continued use in the case of power loss without the need for any user intervention, it will continue to allow system operation including any system accessories for 24 hours OR until the power is restored.   Supplied with an external Dual DEEP CYCLE battery system 24V 15aH system as standard in a SLIMLINE Waterproof and Dust Proof Rated Enclosure (IP67 Cable Gland Supplied), there are a total of THREE battery capacity options available.

  Option 1 (Premier 24-15B): The 15aH Deep Cycle setup allow for up to a two and a half weeks of usage without any charge from the solar panel in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days (whilst factoring in standby power), this is the ideal choice for areas that may see a consistent week of poor weather poor weather through winter without sunlight. This is great choice VIC, NSW, SA, ACT, TAS, QLD, NT and WA.

  Option 2 (Premier 24-22B): The 22aH Deep Cycle setup allows for well over three weeks in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days without seeing any charge from the solar panel (whilst factoring in standby power). It can also support Light commercial usage.

  Option 3 (Premier 24-26B): The 26aH Deep Cycle setup allows for well over four weeks in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days without seeing any charge from the solar panel (whilst factoring in standby power). It can also support Medium commercial usage of 10-15 operations per day for a period of approx. 2 weeks.

  Option 4 (Premier 24-55B): The 55aH Deep Cycle setup allows for well over eight to nine weeks in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days without seeing any charge from the solar panel (whilst factoring in standby power). It can also support higher duty commercial usage of 60 operations per day for a period of approx. 1 weeks. It should be considered in these applications to upgrade the solar panel option to 180 Watts.

  The allowances are general in nature and typically factor for a continuous period taking into account overcast and other poor weather conditions along with wet seasons that will contribute to a no charge/minimal charge result from the solar system. These allowances do not take into account shade on the solar panel which will effect the overall charging.

  These allowances DO NOT take into account WiFi and Bluetooth Modules, as system consumption will increase using one of these devices Always use the next option up from requirment.

  Tekno 4 4G VOLTE Intercom

  

  The Tekno 4V is the solution for gates and entry ways that are unable to have a hard wired or Wi-Fi intercom. It uses Voice over LTE (VOLTE) which is the required standard to use a 4G based device in Australia. It can be used in just about all locations with a 98% network coverage of Australia. The Tekno 4V is powered by 12V DC (adapted supplied) it will allow for a guest to press the call button, at this time the Tekno 4V will begin calling its enrolled admin users in sequence (can be a mobile or landline, individual person or an office). Once the call is answered the admin user and the guest have two-way handsfree communication at which point a command can be given by the admin user to operate the system. If a call was not answered by the admin user the Tekno 4V will call the second admin then the third admin.
