Custom Aluminium Sliding Gate Frame 100×50 Bottom and 50×50 Top and Sides

If one of our ready made gates cannot suit your requirement then our cost effective custom gates allow for full flexibility to suit just about any installation. We offer both Raked and Level options allowing for you to nominate different heights on each side (see definition of sides below) OR run one universal height for the entire frame.

For custom fabrications all gates are constructed to above standard with 50x50mm Top, Sides and All internal Bracing and a 100x50mm bottom Rail, Then coated with your desired powder coat colour (Dulux powder coat).

Powder Coating is standard just select the colour, we offer the option of near to every popular colorbond colour, if its not in the list just reach out and let us know.

“Normal” Gates

A “Normal” gate uses one universal height for both sides of the gate, this option is typically used for driveways which are level (or near to). For this option measure the height on both sides of the driveway and work on using the shorter measurements.

Raked Gates

A gate constructed on a rake means that one side is higher than the other, the gate is always constructed to be level on the top when installed but the bottom of the gate is on an angle. Measuring for a raked gate occurs from the the following perspective: The gate height (Left sand Right) Is always measured from the inside looking towards the street. The measurement occurs at the post where the gate closes to and on the other side just after the open post where the tail of the gate lands (typically 500mm into the fence line).

A welded support angle is great addition to gates that travel across a grade on the driveway allowing for use of a nylon block and channel support system, also being non interference it virtually works with all gate types.

All our custom gates are constructed of 50x50mm SHS Aluminium Tubing for the TOP, SIDES and SUPPORT STRUCTURE. The Bottom rail is constructed of RHS 100x50mm ready to support internal wheels and screw on the gear rack.

If you plan to use Internal wheels (Recommended) don’t forget to choose the wheel cut out option that’s offered (choose YES), this allows us to pre-prepare for the installation of the gate wheel into the gate so you do not need to cut pre-install.
