Versatile Driveway Swing Gate Frame for cladding

Versatile driveway gate frame for cladding

The versatile design gate frame is suitable for both INTERNAL horizontal cladding (up to 20mm material thickness) or EXTERNAL vertical/Horizontal Cladding of any thickness. The gate features a center 40x20mm vertical support rail which does not interfere with internal cladding. The frame measures 1.2m in height.

The construction is of pre-galvanized steel RHS tubing for the Bottom Rail (80x40mm), SHS tubing (40x40mm Top and Sides) and a Vertical support of 40x20mm in the center, every join on the gate is welded providing the best strength and rigidity unlike flat pack gates.

Gate Hinge Options

Multiple hinge options are available to choose from based on two factors gate weight and adjustability/flexibility.

STANDARD Ball bearing Hinge

The standard ball bearing hinge is used with light weight gates only and is fixed without adjustability, it is a simple lift off type hinge.

Strap Hing Ball Bearing

Strap hinge (non-adjustable) is used with gates not exceeding 150kg, it is a simple lift off type hinge.

Rising Hinges

Used with gates requiring a tilt as they open, typically for steep driveways, dead weight of the gate should not exceed 150kg.

Adjustable Strap Hinge (300mm/600mm)

Used for weightier gates such as cladded gates requiring adjustment back to/away from post to achieve alignment, by far the most adjustable hinge option. Available in both a 300mm and 600mm strap length.

Orion Slimline Low Voltage 24 Volt Driveway Linear Actuator Gate Motor

The Orion Linear Actuator kit is ultra modern and slimline measuring at only 80mm in width. Suitable for narrow post installations of 100mm. Constructed from a die-cast alloy rear housing for the DC motor and metal gear set and an extruded aluminum housing for the stainless steel telescopic piston it retains a subtle yet modern appearance with plenty of strength for most applications of ow resistance/low wind loading gates up to 3.5m in size or up to 350kg in weight each.

Operations are smooth and efficient using its 24 Volt DC motor system transferred to its steel lead screw through its metal gear set. The end positions are set using the retracted stroke (in) and a gate stop for its expanded stroke (out).

The Orion has a 400mm stroke and the ability to work with each gate as short as 800mm and as wide as 3.5m (12ft) with a maximum weight of 350kg, if a wider, heavier or a cladded gate is installed please see the Viper series of operators.

The Premier SW24 Automatic gate system controller comes standard with a state of the art feature set catering for all types of installations, whether only requiring ordinary residential operation to all the way up to a full fledged setup requiring advanced logic principals taking advantage of the 70% duty cycle.

The on-board display makes easy work of any settings changes if desired and is easily visible in the outdoors being the advantage of LED displays. With multiple Inputs and outputs just about any accessory is compatible with the Premier SW24 system (see the complete list below).

Also boasting multiple safety inputs along with its precise on-board detection it allows safety to remain prioritized for any application. with the optional plug and play battery back-up system you will be sure not to ever be locked out of your property.

The installation process is always kept in mind allowing up to 7 cable inputs into the outdoor weatherproof gate control box using IP68 cable glands, you will never run out of space or provisions for more.

The genius automatic learning system, hold one key to enable and begin the automatic learning of the gate system and automatic definition of the ramp up and slow down points, its as easy as it gets suiting all skill levels from DIY once off installs to professional installers.

Ready to plug into an ordinary power point there is NO high voltage wiring required, All connections are Low Voltage and safe for all installers regardless of the skill level without the concern of electrical shock.

Normal Modes allow for the “STAY Open” feature to cancel the automatic closing timer by remote Handy when expecting guest, backing in a trailer etc.

✓ Typical Photocell Input Terminal to prevent gate from closing on vehicle, reverts gate if a vehicle passes through during closing, restarts the Automatic closing timer after each interruption.
✓ Photostop Input, Same as the typical photocell input with an added feature of preventing the gate from opening if the photocell is blocked. Handy for short driveways and also opening outwards installations.

Dukie Photocell Kit

Dukie Automatic gate and garage door photocell

The Dukie series photocell kit will provide an invisible to the eye infrared beam across the driveway to prevent the gate closing from obstacles in the beams path. Both the photocells are wired back to the control box with low voltage wiring however the optional upgrade to Dukie+ photocell allows for battery operation on the further photocell from the gate control box meaning only one of the photocells is wired.
