Raptor Low Voltage 24 Volt Heavy Duty Articulating Arm Operator

The Raptor Articulating Arm System Is a High-End ITALIAN 24 Volt Metal Gearbox Articulating Arm Operator in the Extra Heavy Duty Class, Flexible, Strong and and Resilient the operator can swing gate weights of up to an outstanding 800KG EACH (Wrought Iron Gates) and Gates up to 4.2m (14FT) Each for a total of an 8.2m Opening. Construction is Heavy Duty and Solid with a all metal reduction gear systems structure encapsulated into a die-cast housing.

Flexibility is standard thanks to the spherical ball joint connection points on the arm. Both joins in the arm have excellent flexibility allowing for gate operation even when the gate is out of level or a rising gate application. The steel arms continue the heavy duty capabilities of the operators being constructed from laser cut steel at an 8mm thickness for high strength and the post bracket also carries its weight at 5mm thickness also from laser cut steel.

The Raptor series operator is 100% Universal meaning the operator could be installed on EITHER side of the driveway and is suitable for both Inwards (Pull to Open) and Outwards (Push to Open) installations with a clever clutch release system (Emergency release) is available on both sides of the operator.

The Raptor operator uses micro switches (Limit Switches) for both the Open and also the Closed positions allowing for precise and easily adjustable cut off point for each position. Micro switches are wired back to the gate control board for easier designation of both positions without the requirement of any electronics within the gate motor.

The prerequisite for a Raptor operator is a mounting area of 215mm, this is typically available on piers, pillars and large posts. If you have a narrow post the mounting area requirement can be reduced by drilling additional holes in the post bracket OR the post could be extended by installing a heavy duty bracket on the side of the post. The clearance area required for a Raptor operators arm when the gate is open to 90 Degrees (arm folded back) is 450mm.

Both Cable rolls required (DC Motor and Limit Switches) is available as an add on (in the kit contents tab) if cable has not been pre-laid before hand), a total of 5 wires is used to operate a Raptor.

OPTIONAL Uninterrupted Battery Backup System

The optional uninterrupted battery backup system allows for continued use in the case of power loss without the need for any user intervention, it will continue to allow system operation including any system accessories for 24 hours OR until the power is restored. The batteries are automatically recharged when power is restored and trickle whilst power is available Directly fitting into the systems compartment there is no need for any additional storage boxes.

The External 24V Transformer is designed to be installed outdoors or in a garage/carport. The transformer will plug into an ordinary power point and output a safe LOW VOLTAGE supply to the gate system. Being built to an uncompromised and higher specification unit it is capable of a low voltage run of up to 120 meters making it suitable for most installations that do not have a power point nearby to the gate.

Dukie Automatic gate and garage door photocell

The Dukie series photocell kit will provide an invisible to the eye infrared beam across the driveway to prevent the gate closing from obstacles in the beams path. Both the photocells are wired back to the control box with low voltage wiring however the OPTIONAL UPGRADE to Dukie XR Retro Reflective sensor allows for a reflector on the far side and the sensor itself to be connected on the control box side.

The Fortress EL totally AUTOMATIC electric gate lock system allows for a secure hold over the gate particularly handy when the gate is wide, prone to wind resistance or in an application requiring an additional layer of security. Prior to beginning the gate operation the electric lock first unlatches then begins to move the gates to the open position, during the closing the lock will automatically latched closed when reaching the end of cycle.

The Fortress EL is supplied with both a gate to post latching plate (for single gates) and also a gate to ground latching plate (for double gates to be used with a metal gate stop).

For double gates a rebate/lip should be installed on the front of the trailing gate to prevent it being pushed past the locked gate (essentially both gates are locked this way).

WIRELESS Automatic Vehicle Detection Sensor – for Automatic Opening of gate

An easy to install WIRELESS AUTOMATIC OPENING driveway vehicle detection system

Multiple hours saved, materials saved and frustrations gone

Long gone are the days of cutting concrete, chasing wires and configuring induction loop detectors (ground loop). Finally, a simple WIRELESS solution to streamline the installation process.
The WIRELESS loop detector SIMPLY BOLT DOWN to a concrete driveway (or concrete pad in gravel driveways) and wirelessly communicate back with the gate system using the supplied high security (128 Bit) transceiver for two way communication between the New Generation wireless loops.

The wireless exit “loop” is maintenance free and installed with 2x AA Lithium batteries for a THREE YEAR use period before a battery replacement is required (regular usage), to replace the batteries simply remove the top cover and fit the new Lithium AA batteries.

How does it work and what happens if I accidently drive over it?
The wireless loop is designed for a vehicle to drive over and will detect the undercarriage of the vehicle, if its accidently driven over it presents no issue whatsoever as its casing carries a static load capacity of 2500kg.

How far can i have it from the gate?
Thanks to its high transmission range capabilities it has a maximum wireless operating distance of 50 meters.

How big is it?
Its compact form factor allows for a discreet installation measuring only 120x120mm Length and Width and only 30mm in height.

Will it work with my system?
Typically, YES, it will work with any gate system that has an open command input and an accessories voltage output of 12-24V DC

Which installations does this suit?
Any domestic installations which fit the following criteria:
✓A concrete pad or driveway is available for the device to be installed on to
✓When a vehicle is parked it does not sit within 3 meters of the device
✓The device does not sit in a recess and pool water, snow or any debris
✓Not nearby to high voltage cables

How is it installed?
1. Connect the transceiver to the gates control board, this must be installed within the gate controller or any enclosure
2. Power on the transceiver and have the loop touching the antenna of the transceiver.
3. Once the transceiver flashes its blue led and the loop flashes its yellow led they are now paired together.
4. Remove backing plate from the loop and install to concrete using the supplied concrete screw bolts, ensure the arrow faces the direction of travel for exit (faces towards the gate).
5. Install the wireless loop to the backing plate and allow 3 minutes for calibration
Test to confirm operation, job done!

Uninterrupted LITHIUM Battery Backup System for Premier SW24 Swing Gate System

The optional uninterrupted battery backup system allows for continued use in the case of power loss without the need for any user intervention, it will continue to allow system operation including any system accessories for 24-48 hours OR until the power is restored. The batteries are automatically recharged when power is restored and trickle whilst power is available Directly fitting into the systems compartment there is no need for any additional storage boxes.
